What kind of gym is Feel Good Health and Performance?
Feel Good Health and Performance is a strength and conditioning gym based in Asquith, between Hornsby and Waitara stations on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. We run coached group training sessions that combine strength work, conditioning, and varied functional movements. Scaled to every fitness level and coached every single session. We're not a commercial gym. There's no wandering around on your own.
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. The majority of people who join us haven't trained consistently in years or even at all. Every session is scaled to where you are right now. The load, the movement, and the intensity are all adjusted to suit you. Our coaches will never put you in a position that's unsafe or beyond your ability.
How much does it cost?
The Built For Results 28-Day Program is $236. That covers unlimited coached group sessions, programming, and access to the members app. We talk through all of this on your welcome call with Ben before you start.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes. Children are welcome at the gym while you train as we have a dedicated kids area where they can always see you and stay safe. This is free for all members to use while they train. Kids 10 and up can join regular classes. We also run a dedicated kids session one afternoon per week. Several of our members train with young babies present. Our coaches have been known to push prams and incorporate kids into warm-ups.
What makes FGHP different from other gyms in Hornsby?
Three things. Every session is coached. You're never left to figure it out alone. The programming is planned and progressive by Ben, the actual owner and head coach with 15+ years experience. There's a method and a reason behind every session. And the community is real. Members know each other's names, celebrate each other's wins, and notice when someone doesn't show up. You won't find that at a commercial gym.
How do I get started?
Fill in the contact form and Ben will call you within 24 hours. It's an honest conversation. No scripts, no pressure. He'll ask about your history, your goals, and what hasn't worked before. Then you'll decide together whether the 28-Day Program is the right fit.
Is this a CrossFit gym?
We're not a traditional CrossFit gym. We do things our own way. Our group sessions combine strength, conditioning, and varied functional movements, all fully coached and scaled to your level. If you've trained at CrossFit gyms before and loved the format, you'll feel right at home. If you haven't, you don't need any background to start.
What is the Built For Results 28-Day Program?
It's our entry program for new members. $236 for 28 days of unlimited coached sessions, goal mapping, nutrition guidance, personalised progressions, and coach check-ins between sessions. It's designed to give you a complete experience of what training at FGHP actually looks and feels like, with full support from day one.
What time are classes?
We start at 5AM for those who need to train before work and family life takes over. Sessions run through the morning, and into the evening. The full schedule is available under ‘Schedule’.
Where are you located?
2/14 Brennan Close, Asquith NSW 2077. We're right between Hornsby and Asquith train stations on the Upper North Shore, making us easy to reach from Hornsby, Waitara, Berowra, Mt Colah, Pennant Hills, and surrounding suburbs.
I've tried gyms before and it never stuck. Why would this be different?
Because the problem was almost certainly the environment, not you. Most gyms hand you a keycard and leave you to it. No coaching, no structure, no accountability. At FGHP you have a coach every session, a program that progresses week by week, check-ins between sessions, and a community that keeps you honest. The conditions for consistency are built in.
